1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pulse Race Management Platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Pulse provides a race management platform that allows organizers to create and manage running events, and participants to discover, register for, and track their race results. The Platform includes features for event creation, registration management, timing, and result tracking.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. User Roles

The Platform supports different user roles including Participants, Race Organizers, Clerks, and Administrators. Each role has specific permissions and responsibilities. Organizer accounts require admin approval. Misuse of elevated privileges may result in role demotion or account suspension.

5. Event Registration & Payments

Registration fees are set by race organizers and displayed in Philippine Pesos (₱). All payments are subject to the organizer's refund and cancellation policies. Pulse facilitates payment processing but is not responsible for disputes between participants and organizers. Registration is confirmed only after payment verification.

6. Organizer Responsibilities

Race organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, participant safety, proper handling of registration fees, and compliance with local regulations. Organizers must ensure events are conducted safely and professionally.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Platform are owned by Pulse or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant Pulse a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform's services.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: (a) use the Platform for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access; (c) transmit malware or harmful code; (d) impersonate others; (e) submit false information; or (f) interfere with the Platform's operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Pulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in events listed on the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Pulse in the preceding 12 months.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform and take effect immediately. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
